Hailey Bieber addresses rumor she manages husband Justin Bieber

Hailey Bieber is setting the record straight on one of the most persistent rumors surrounding her marriage to pop superstar Justin Bieber. In a recent interview, the model and entrepreneur flatly denied that she has taken over as her husband's manager, a story that has circulated online for months.

Speaking on the In Your Dreams podcast with Owen Thiele on October 24, Hailey responded directly to the speculation. “A couple months ago it was like, ‘Hailey is doing management for her husband,’ like I’m taking over to be his manager,” she said. “Like, there’s no world which that would ever … but also that’s my husband, what do we think is going on here?” She added that she found the rumor “really funny” and “so ridiculous and far-fetched.”

The rumor gained traction after Justin parted ways with his longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023. Fans theorized that Hailey might be stepping into the role, especially given her increasing influence in beauty and fashion with her brand Rhode. However, Hailey made it clear that her role is as a wife and mother, not a business manager.

The couple, who married in 2018, have been navigating public scrutiny ever since. Justin's career began at a young age, shooting to fame with hits like “Baby” and later evolving into a more mature artist with albums like Purpose and Changes. Hailey, meanwhile, has built her own successful career as a model and founder of the skincare line Rhode. The couple's dynamic has often been a subject of fascination for fans and tabloids alike.

During the same podcast, Hailey also addressed another topic that frequently comes up: whether she and Justin would ever collaborate on a song. “No, to be silly and for fun I would,” she said. “If he was like, ‘We’re in the studio let me record you 'cause we’re being funny and making a song for ourselves.’ I would do it. He’s never asked me to do that.” So while a duet is not in the cards right now, Hailey didn't rule out the possibility of a playful studio session in the future.

The Biebers recently celebrated a major family milestone: their son Jack Blues turned one year old on August 22. Hailey shared a series of adorable photos on social media, including shots of a birthday celebration that appeared intimate and joyful. The couple has kept much of Jack's life private, but Hailey occasionally gives fans a glimpse into their parenting journey.

In the podcast, Hailey opened up about her desire to expand their family. “I know I want more than one,” she revealed. “But I’m not in a rush. Justin was an only child too, so all the conversations that we’ve had about that is that we want our son to have siblings.” She expressed how much she loves being a mother, noting, “It’s so fun, I love being a mom. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, though. Since I was a little kid, I always envisioned myself having kids.”

Hailey also reflected on the broader perspective of parenting. “You know what’s funny? The older I’ve gotten and now that I have a kid, I think any decision anyone makes about having them or not having them is totally amazing.” This insight shows her mature approach to family planning, respecting different choices while embracing her own path.

Since Jack's birth, the Biebers have been adjusting to parenthood while continuing their respective careers. Justin has been relatively low-key on the music front, but he has hinted at new projects. Hailey has been expanding Rhode, which has become a cult favorite in the beauty industry. The couple often supports each other's ventures, appearing at events together and posting about one another on social media.

The manager rumor isn't the only false narrative Hailey has had to address. Over the years, she and Justin have faced countless rumors about the state of their marriage, from secret struggles to impending divorce. Yet the couple has consistently shown a united front, frequently sharing affectionate moments online and in public. Hailey has also been open about the challenges of being married to a global superstar, emphasizing that they prioritize communication and faith.

Justin's career has been marked by incredible highs and public setbacks. After his breakout as a teen idol, he faced legal troubles and personal struggles before bouncing back with critically acclaimed music. His decision to part with Scooter Braun in 2023 was a significant shift, but he has since worked with other producers and collaborators. Hailey's involvement in his career has always been minimal, as she focuses on her own professional path.

Interestingly, the rumor about Hailey managing Justin's career seemed to coincide with her growing business acumen. Rhode, launched in 2022, quickly gained a loyal following for its minimalist, effective skincare products. Hailey has been hands-on with the brand, appearing in campaigns and handling much of the strategic direction. This entrepreneurial success may have led some to assume she had similar influence over Justin's music choices.

However, Hailey made it clear that such assumptions are unfounded. “It's one of those things where people just make stuff up,” she said with a laugh. She added that she and Justin have clear boundaries when it comes to work. While she is his biggest supporter, she does not make professional decisions for him. Instead, she focuses on being his partner at home and a mother to their son.

The podcast also touched on other lighthearted topics, such as Hailey's favorite things and her daily routine. She described herself as a homebody who enjoys quiet evenings with Justin and Jack. “We're just really boring,” she joked, “but we love it.” The couple reportedly spends much of their time at their home in Los Angeles, enjoying family dinners and movie nights.

As for future plans, Hailey hinted that she might be open to more brand expansions, but her priority remains her family. She also expressed gratitude for the life she has built with Justin. “I feel really lucky,” she said. “We've been through a lot, but we're in a really good place now.”

In the end, Hailey's interview serves as a reminder that even the most famous couples are just people navigating their own lives. While fans may speculate about what goes on behind closed doors, the Biebers continue to chart their own course, one that now includes the joy of raising their son and the anticipation of perhaps adding another little one to the family.
