Adani's wedding expenses surpassed Ambani's salary.
Gautam Adani's son, Jeet Adani, recently got married in a simple ceremony. Instead of extravagant celebrations like those of the Ambanis, Adani made a significant donation of ₹10,000 crores for healthcare, education, and skill development. The Adani Group also launched the ‘Mangala Seva’ initiative, providing financial aid to disabled women. Jeet Adani personally met 25 newlywed disabled women and offered them financial assistance to start new lives.

Among the prominent wealthy businessmen in India are Adani and Ambani. Last year, Mukesh Ambani spent nearly ₹5,000 crores for the grand wedding of his youngest son, Anant Ambani, which caused a stir in Mumbai with guests from both domestic and international locations. However, recently, in 2025, another wealthy individual in the country, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, had his youngest son, Jeet Adani, married. In this context, Jeet Adani married Diva Sha. Unlike Ambani, Adani did not conduct his son's wedding with such extravagance. Not only did he keep his son's wedding simple, but he also announced a donation of ₹10,000 crores. A large portion of this donation is planned to be used for healthcare, education, and skill development.
The donation announced by Adani is aimed at bringing better hospitals and medical colleges to all sections of society. It was revealed that the money will be used to upgrade global skills academies. Adani posted wedding photos of his son on his Twitter account. However, he also apologized for not inviting relatives to Jeet Adani’s wedding. He revealed that the wedding took place in Ahmedabad, following traditional customs, and was celebrated with loved ones. Before the wedding, the Adani Group launched the ‘Mangala Seva’ initiative.
It was revealed that every year, financial assistance would be provided to 500 newlywed disabled women. According to information from the Adani Group, they would receive ₹10 lakh in financial aid every year to start a new life. Jeet Adani personally met 25 newlywed disabled women and their husbands and provided them with financial assistance. For more updates on business news, visit Vaartha Business.
